Advent Episcopal Church has been part of the Veteran’s Feeding Ministry for the US VETS Center in Phoenix, Az since 2019. The Veteran’s Ministry Team meets on a monthly basis to plan and implement additional activities and services to the Service men and Women at Luke Air Force Base. Advent Hosts a Veteran’s Day USO during our coffee hour, recognises all veteran’s on Veteran’s Day, Memorial Day and trhe 4th of July VA telehealth and tele-counseling are available and a good way to help veterans who are isolated and alone during this crisis.
