The James H. Quillen VA Medical Center had reports from sister VA facilities that Veterans have received calls from someone claiming to work for VA. The person states they are going to the Veteran’s home to give them a COVID-19 (Corona Virus) shot. THESE CALLS ARE NOT FROM VA. Some are also requesting bank account information.
At this time, a shot for COVID-19 does not exist. VA will NEVER ask you for your bank account information over the phone. This has been referred to the VA police, but we wanted you to be aware. Please let your loved ones know if they are not on social media.
