Every day 22+ Veterans and 1 Active Duty Soldier take their own lives. Burdened with the stigma associated with mental health issues and the military “shame” surrounding PTS (Post Traumatic Stress), they instead turn to suicide as their only option to relieve suffering. We’re volunteer Veterans who understand the military.
While we are not a crisis center and don’t provide direct clinical services or therapy, we do offer a high-touch service with connection to resources for many of the stresses faced: depression, anxiety, PTSD, job loss, relationship issues, mental health needs, financial worries, housing and more.
We face a tidal wave of military suicides as more and more servicemen and women come home. Please help us win the war against veteran suicide.

On February 12, 2015 President Obama signed into law the Clay Hunt Suicide Prevention for American Veterans Act, or SAV Act. “We’ve got to also act,” President Obama said. “We can’t just talk. So we’re ready to help you begin the next chapter of your lives. And if you are hurting, know this: You are not forgotten. You are not alone. You are never alone. We are here for you. America is here for you. All of us. And we will not stop doing everything in our power to get you the care and support you need to stay strong and keep serving this country we love.
“We need you. We need you. You make our country better,” the president said.
Please help us win this war! We must start now. Please let us know if you have someone who needs support. We offer two life saving training programs to find our heroes before its too late. PTSD Awareness, Intervention, Resolution (PAIR) and Question, Persuade, Refer suicide prevention (QPR) training. Drop us a note if you want to volunteer, learn to be a veteran gatekeeper or want to learn. Every day matters!
