We have been receiving numerous request to extend the art contest deadline from September 24th to October 25, 2021. Our partners meet on Friday and have agreed to extended the deadline to October 25th. The winner(s) will be announced on Veterans Day, November 11th, in Madisonville Tennessee.
VTVT and MACA invite artists to participate in this joint venture by responding to this competitive initiative and putting brush to their work. The contest elicits the artist, to use their vision on the storied history of the American Military by presenting respectful artwork for one (or more) of the six respective branches of service. The artist is asked to produce a work of art that expresses the valued traditions of each branch of service. A review of historical military art would offer a representative baseline for which the art may be properly inspired. We would love to see the humanity of the hearts of our men and women of service through you work.
