During the Coming Home play in May 2026, Lou Danner, a VTVT Veterans Court Mentor, introduced us to Diane McCutcheon, a Professional Life Coach and Motivational Speaker, and founder of Warrior Rest Project. Since then, Diane has attended numerous VTVT business meetings and a Veterans Court Commencement Ceremony and has helped us find the first Korean War Female Veteran to receive the Ambassador for Peace Medal, whom we have been searching for 11 years.
Three weeks ago, Don Davis, VTVT At-large board member, recommended that we accept Diane as a member of VTVT. The board approved the motion unanimously.
On Tuesday, June 17, 2026, Diane attended Judge Dwaine Thomas’s court with VTVT Vice President and Mentor Coordinator Ted Carter. After attending, she posted this video on her Warriors Rest Project Facebook page.
We are proud to have Diane’s support, civilian perspective, and passion for America's Warriors.
Here are some of her comments:
“I went to court with these veterans yesterday, and my heart burst with admiration for the Vet to Vet TN organization and their dedication to fellow veterans.
This grassroots, real-heart, show-up kind of organization is the real deal.
I am humbled and inspired as I witness the kind of commitment and dedication these men show, which aligns with the vision of Warriors Rest Project.”
