Korean War Veteran Robert W. Gullie has been trying to receive the Republic of South Korean’s Ambassador for Peace Medal since December 2017. With the help of VTVT Robert received the Peace Medal on February 4, 2019 just a few days before his 87th birthday. Robert’s daughter Paula sent a photo of Robert holding his long awaited medal. and the following message.
“Here’s my father George W Gullie receiving his medal. Thank you so much for your prompt attention on this request because he has tried since Dec 2017 to get one from the Atlanta office. The medal is a beautiful one and will be placed with the others he was awarded. Proud of our daddy and for his service. He will be 87 years old the 15th of this month. God bless you all.
