Mr. Robert Ford, Sevier County TN VSO partnered with Vet to Vet Tennessee to help Mr. Billy Justus recieve this special honor from the Republic of Korean.
On December 19, 2025, Sevier County had the honor of presenting the Ambassador for Peace medal ton behalf of the Republic of Korea to 92-year old Korean War Veteran Billy Justus of Seymour Tennessee. What a privilege this was to meet this hero. Sevier County Sherrif’s office, Sevier County Government, Representative Fred Atchley, Sevier County Veteran Service Officer Robert Ford, and Vet to Vet Tennessee. Mr. Justus was also presented with a quilt from Quilt Valor for Mr. Justus service.
Vet to Vet Tennessee has been a proud partner of the Korean Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs for over 10 years. Mr. Gilhyun Lee the Korean Liaison with VTVT for almost two years now. We thank Mr. Lee for helping receive the medal for Mr. Justus. God bless America.
