Justice For Vets (J4V) presented their Veteran Mentor Corp Boot Camp program in Symra, Tennessee. Vet to Vet Tennessee (V2VT) officers Freddie Owens and Ed Junod attended the training. As well as many of our V2VT associates from middle and southern TN. Our associates from the Chattanooga area were Col. US Air Force (ret) Chris Dooley and LTC USA (ret) B. Ray Adkins.
David Pelletier, J.D, Project Director for J4V was the lead presenter and taught one of the best training program V2VT has ever attended and some us have had the pleasure of attending as many as for Mentor Boot Camp.
Since most of the attendees were Vietnam Veterans and because David recognized Vietnam Veterans as the leaders in the Veterans Court program, Freddie Owens asked Marine David Pelletier if V2VT could present the qualified veterans with the Vietnam War Commemoration lapel pin and the Presidential Proclamation. David accepted our request and allowed V2VT to present to the Vietnam War recipients before the second day of training.
Friday morning, V2VT presented more than 60 pins and proclamations. Click here to view the photos taken during the VWC presentation. V2VT would like to thank David for allowing us to present and LTC Ray Adkins, Scott Tirocchi (on camera), Freddie Owens, Dr. Patrick Welch and Ed Junod for participating in the presentation. “Welcome Home!”
