Vet to Vet Tennessee has been receiving Korean War Ambassador for Peace Medal applications from Mr. George E. LeVan, Jr. since October 17, 2020. Since then he has applied for 3 Korean War Veterans. On November 20, 2020 Vet to Vet TN received the featured photo from Mr. LeVan; Curtis Bixler (right) holding his Ambassador for Peace Medal that was presented to him by Paull Laincz (left), president of the Heritage Veteran’s Association (HVA).
On November 23, 2020 we received the below letter and generous donation from HVA. We are grateful and honored that HVA is identifying and recognizing our country’s Korean War heroes.
