Thanks to Rhea General Sessions Judge Jace Cochran’s dedication, vision, and mission to help veterans/military and their families, the first graduate of a Veterans Court in Rhea County occurred on July 19, 2023 in Judge Cochran’s courtroom.
In attendance were Rhea County Executive Jim Vincent and his wife Marilyn, Monroe County Veterans Court Judge Dwaine B. Thomas, retired Tennessee Veterans Affairs Assistant Commissioner & President of the Knoxville VVA, Rhea County Deputy Sheriff, Rhea County VSO, Tommy Haverston & Tia Marshall, Monroe County VSO Andy Boyd, Rhea County Businessman Chuck Lambert, Vet to Vet Tennessee members and Veterans Court Mentors.
The first graduate from the Rhea County Veterans Court commencement ceremony was 100% disabled Army Veteran Prince Levi Henderson. Shown in the photo about is Veterans Court Mentor Gail Evans, Judge Jace Cochran, and graduate Prince Levi Henderson.
