Son accepts Fathers Ambassador for Peace Medal

President of Vet to Vet Tennessee reads a proclamation from the Republic of South Korea honoring Reed Michael Conkin’s involvement in restoring freedom and democracy to the south during the Korean War. Standing with Junod were Conklin’s son and daughter-in-law, Stacy and Wendi, holding the Republic of South Korea’s Ambassador for Peace Medal was Service Officer and Vet to Vet TN’s Chaplain Melvin Oggs, and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5156 Commander Wayne Grayson.
