June 25, 2019 was the 69th anniversary of the beginning of the Korean War.2nd Annual Korean War Veterans appreciation luncheon. Thanks to the Knoxville Area Korean Association (KAKA) and their appreciation for the American Korean War Veterans, the Veterans were treated to a free luncheon at Bridgewater Place. This is the second annual KAKA Korean War Veterans Luncheon in honor of Rex Davis.
Vet to Vet Tennessee (VTVT) has been participating in the Korean War Veterans appreciation luncheon for years and are honored partners of KAKA for the second year. Nine VTVT volunteers supported the event; Andrew Auton, Dean Powell, Bill Richards, Gary Corea, James Puckett, Sheryn & Don Davis, George Howell, Randall Scott and Pat and Ed Junod.
