The Seventh Annual Ramp Festival sponsored by the Ballplay Ruritan Club will be held at the Friends Meeting of Ballplay fellowship hall and grounds on
Sat., April 22, 10:00 am–4:00 pm 157 Ballplay School Road, Tellico Plains, TN 37354
Family activities, live music, and booths for vendors and local community organizations. Dinner served 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and includes ramps, scrambled eggs, potatoes, cornbread, beans, drink and dessert. Adults are $10, children under 12 are $5 (“kid-friendly” hot dog meal available). Proceeds will be used for community projects. Event is rain or shine with free admission and parking.
Vet to Vet Tennessee will have a booth for Korean War Veterans who served in Korea during 1950 and 1953 & Vietnam Era and Vietnam Veterans who served during November 1955 and May 1975. Mission is to have fun and to locate and present the Vietnam Veterans and their spouses with the Vietnam War Commemoration Presidential Proclamation and lapel pin and to register US Korean War Veterans for the Republic of South Korean Ambassador for Peace Medal.
