On November 3, 2015, Elmcroft of West Knoxville hosted their second annual Elmcroft Veterans Day. The presentation was provided by the Legacy Peer Support Group and Vet to Vet Tennessee. Each resident veteran was honored individually by members of LPG and presented with a veteran hat and an American flag.
The grand finale was the singing of the Armed Forces Medley! Wish you could have heard and see them joyfully and loudly sign the medley which brought about many tears of sadness and joy.
A special thank you to Kristy Rich, Executive Director, David, Lisa, Pat, Rebecca, Robert and the entire Elmcroft staff for caring for our heroes. We also have a special thank you to Howard Jenkins, Robert Hatley for providing the hats and flags. We were honored to serve those who fought for us.
