The Englewood Church of God kicked off their inaugural Celebrate Recovery(CR) program Sunday evening. This the third CR in the Tenth Judicial District in Tennessee and the first in McMinn County.
Senior pastor support from Englewood Church of God’s Pastor Scott and inspired by CR Ministry Leader Starlit Johnson, the Englewood CR began with fellowship and refreshments at 6:15 PM, Worship at 6:45 PM with Biblically-based teachings and music (awesome band), followed by testimony.
Heather Mills was the guest speaker who shared her amazing journey from darkness into light.

Immediately after hearing Heather’s remarkable passage, the large group was divided into began small groups at 7:30 PM offering support on specific issues. These small groups were separated into men’s and women’s groups and are a safe place to give and receive positive support for individual needs. Click here to view photos.
Numerous CR leaders and members of the Celebrate Recovery Community in Sweetwater attended the event as well as members from Vet to Vet Tennessee (V2VT).
