The Knoxville Area Korean Association (KAKA) and LG remembered those who sacrificed and served during the Korean War on Friday, May 27, 2022.
U.S. Congressman Tim Burchett and Knox County Mayor Glen Jacobs were the special guest and speakers. LG President Ethan Son honored eight (8) Korean War Veterans and donated eight (8) new LG washers and drivers for their service during the Korean War.
Special thanks to KAKA President Elena McMillian, KAKA Board Member Michael Millan, Jin Eun Jung, Pastor of Sarang Church of Knoxville, Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church, Vet to Vet Tennessee, LG Electronics Tennessee, Marine Corps League, Lt. Alexander Bonnyman Detachment, and KAKA staff.
